Group Details
To capitalize on our market position, we are looking to hire a Sales Executive to join the New York-based Sales Team. Your experience to date will include developing a sales pipeline, establishing new contacts within existing accounts and identifying new opportunities with existing clients. You will have excellent interpersonal skills; a flexible style suited to building relationships with a range of clients and the tenacity to pursue opportunities and close deals. Ideally, you will have gained a solid understanding of Fixed Income products and have some insight into how products are traded electronically. You should be an effective communicator, able to leverage and share information to navigate complex client organizations and maximize growth and opportunities within the business.
We look to hire self-motivated people who are comfortable working with minimal supervision as part of a small team in a company that is leading the way in one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of the financial markets. Successful candidates will have a natural curiosity and intuitive problem-solving skills. You must enjoy constantly evolving challenges and working closely with internal and external teams to provide best in class service for your clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior salespeople to develop and execute the sales strategy whilst partnering with the relevant internal teams.
- Establish yourself as a ‘go to’ person for customer enquiries and information; educate others and provide presentations / demonstrations as necessary.
- Understand how to maximize revenue from each account
- Provide accounts with regularly scheduled and ad hoc performance reporting. Must be comfortable generating reports, reviewing with the clients, soliciting feedback, and spotting trends over time.
- Help maintain Tradeweb’s position as a market leader within the Dealer to Client Fixed Income and Derivatives e-trading market, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
- Some overnight travel required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of fixed income markets, products, and trade process is a plus
- 1 to 3 years’ experience
- Business understanding of fixed income trading
- Series 7 and 63 Strongly preferred

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $80,000 to $120,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
