Position Overview
We are seeking a personable, design-savvy Showroom Design Consultant to join our Tuscaloosa, AL team. This role involves assisting customers in selecting tile and design materials for residential projects while delivering outstanding service and support throughout the selection process.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in clients, designers, and contractors in the showroom
- Provide design advice and product recommendations based on project needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring showroom environment
- Develop a strong knowledge of tile, stone, and installation materials
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on customer needs
- Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure client satisfaction
- Stay current on product trends, inventory, and promotions
Qualifications
- Prior experience in interior design, tile, or home improvement is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and an eye for design
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Comfortable using computers and order-entry systems, Microsoft 365
Hours : Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
