Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in construction or capital projects.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with construction contracts and vendor management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including procurement and project management.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst to support financial operations for a major new construction build. This role will be responsible for managing purchase orders, tracking cash flows, overseeing budgeting cycles, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and vendor invoicing. The ideal candidate will have experience working with contracts, resolving financial discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, project management, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order Management: Create, track, and reconcile purchase orders related to construction materials, services, and subcontractors.
- Cash Flow Analysis: Monitor and forecast project cash flows to ensure financial health and timely payments.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development and maintenance of project budgets; assist in monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Vendor Financial Coordination: Liaise with vendors to resolve invoicing issues, ensure contract compliance, and manage payment schedules.
- Contract Review & Tracking: Analyze financial terms in vendor contracts and track obligations, milestones, and payment terms.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies related to vendor billing, purchase orders, and budget variances.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, highlighting budget status, spend tracking, and financial risks.
