About the Job
As an Account Executive on the Direct Sales team at Odoo, you will drive new business by actively prospecting and engaging with potential customers across North America. Through outbound sales efforts such as cold calling, email outreach, and discovery calls, you will introduce organizations to Odoo's fully integrated suite of business applications.
You will manage the full sales cycle by identifying prospects, understanding their business needs, demonstrating Odoo's value, and closing deals. Account Executives receive comprehensive training in the Odoo ecosystem to deliver tailored product demos and support customers through a smooth implementation process.

Responsibilities
- Generate new business by identifying leads, booking meetings, and exceeding outreach targets through phone, email, and in-person engagement
- Prospect face-to-face by visiting businesses and attending trade shows, conferences, and local events to build relationships and uncover sales opportunities
- Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies tailored to each prospect's needs and decision-making process
- Clearly communicate Odoo’s value proposition while guiding prospects through the sales funnel from discovery to close
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, tracking all sales activities and pipeline progress
- Achieve or exceed sales quotas through effective pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and timely deal closures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally involving outbound prospecting and cold calling
- Experience selling SaaS solutions or working in a tech-driven sales environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects
- Self-motivated and curious, with a strong interest in understanding business needs

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 OTE (on-target earnings), with a base salary range of $35,000-$50,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
