Participants Wanted: Research Interviews on Creative Work & Software
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to speak with people working in the below creative fields. I’m a Master’s student in Sociology at CUNY/Hunter conducting research on how creative professionals use software in their work.
- Creative Directors, Art Directors
- Illustrators
- Designers
- Video editors or motion graphics artists
- 3D artists or animators
- Photographers/DPs
Who I’m looking for:
NY creative workers who regularly use digital tools (any tools! e.g., Adobe, Blender, Figma, Maxon ) and are open to reflecting on their relationship with technology and their creative practice.
If you’re interested (or know someone who might be), please send me a message or email to schedule a time. Please let me know basically, your title or job, where you work or last worked, how long you’ve been working and what software or apps you use/have used. Feel free to include a reel or portfolio just so I get a sense of your work, not as criteria for tis inerview!
About the interview:
- Length: approximately 30–45 minutes
- Format: Phone, In person or Zoom (whichever works best)
- When: Next week (flexible scheduling)
- Compensation: Unpaid — your insights will contribute to academic research on creativity and technology. (OR Coffee if we meet in person)
Thank you for considering!
