Personal Lines Account Manager
Summary: The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing an active pipeline through seeking out prospects, calling on potential clients, conducting in depth needs analysis/risk assessments, developing ideas for meeting their needs, presenting information on the organization's capabilities, strategically cross-selling products aligned with clients' needs and introducing technical specialists, as required, to attain and retain the business.
Job Responsibilities:
Personal Lines
• Proactively develop relationships with the company mortgage team to create a seamless process for providing homeowners policy quotes to new mortgage clients.
Home and Auto Insurance
• Communicate with potential clients to provide quote proposals for home and auto insurance.
Sales Process
• Conduct thorough needs analysis/risk assessment to uncover prospects/clients' unique coverage needs.
• Prepare proposals and presentations using marketing resources.
• Provide consultative advice in key risk areas.
• Identify and close potential cross-sell opportunities
Pipeline Management
• Identify prospects for business from existing and prospective clients.
• Obtain referral leads from existing clients.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities.
• Partner with branches and mortgage team to coach and identify new business opportunities.
Account Maintenance
• Collaborate with account managers to create and maintain client account files.
Cross Selling
• Review current policy lists to identify account rounding/cross selling opportunities.
Client Management
• Maintain consistent/high quality touch points by phone and face to face with clients.
• Champion the proper advocacy of claims.
• Support Client Management team in identifying and closing rounding opportunities.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree;
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license with a minimum of four years' experience as a P&C sales producer and/or account manager;
• Proven track record of successful pipeline development, delivery of effective sales strategies and reputation as a client-centric sales professional;
• Comprehensive working knowledge of principles and methods of selling products; services and value propositions; sales marketing strategies and tactics; technical knowledge of insurance and risk management products, services, and value propositions; pipeline management and cross-selling;
• Ability to identify and leverage essential information and think in a critical and logical manner;
• Ability to work in a client-centric strategic and decisive manner according to tight deadlines;
• Computer and technical proficiency;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline;
• Experience working with Applied Epic and PL Rating preferred.

Schedule:
This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule; 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home based on business need.
