Position Summary
This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who wants to build exceptional experience in electrical design for large infrastructure projects. You will have the ability to be involved in all phases of design from pre-proposal involvement to design, production, and construction. The selected candidate will provide engineering support work that will include design and drafting of contract drawings, responding to contractor Requests for Information, reviewing shop drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements, and other related design/engineering duties. Applicants should have a good understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical power engineering principles and possess electrical engineering knowledge related to voltage, current, power, voltage drop, cable sizes, and conduit size requirements per NEC.
Position Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
· Develop procurement documents.
· Build design and installation packages.
· Evaluate proposals, technical reports, and cost estimates.
· Conduct engineering analyses required for procurement and construction.
· Collaborate with a team of engineering and technical professionals.
· Provide regular reports and updates to the Mbroh Leadership Team.
Desired Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
· 1 to 4 years of related engineering experience desired, ideally in the consulting field or working with a full-service Architecture/Engineering Firm (A/E) or Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) firm
· Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and/or AGi32 is a plus
· Experience in water and wastewater control processes is a plus
· Positive and proactive approach to addressing challenges and working with team members
· Ability to build strong professional cross-functional relationships
· Honest, trustworthy and dependable
