About the Role
Gold Marketing & Services is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our in-house marketing team in Houston.This role focuses primarily on building the online presence of our main brand, Same Day Garage Door, while also maintaining the social media accounts of several of our other home service brands (including plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair).The ideal candidate is a storyteller who thrives on creating authentic, high-quality content — both behind the camera and online. You’ll regularly join our technicians in the field to capture real job-site photos and videos, transforming them into engaging content for our digital platforms.Gas reimbursement is provided for all work-related travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and manage engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube for Same Day Garage Door and other company brands
- Join technicians on-site to capture real, high-quality photos and videos
- Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
- Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all social channels
- Manage posting schedules, captions, and community engagement
- Monitor analytics and suggest improvements to increase reach and engagement
- Stay updated with the latest trends and incorporate them into content strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts
- Strong photo and video content creation and editing skills (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
- Proficiency with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills
- Organized and self-driven, with the ability to juggle multiple brand accounts
- Reliable transportation (gas reimbursement provided)
- Experience with paid social campaigns is an advantage
