GRAPHICS PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
MISSION: Help to provide a continual workflow in graphics, channel letters/trim and cabinets, underneath the direction of the Graphics Lead.
Produce digital print or vinyl projects by following written and verbal instructions
This key result area will have been satisfactorily met when:
- All work orders are reviewed upon receipt, any questions/concerns should be addressed with the Graphics Lead by the end of the day that they are received
- Set up vinyl or digital print that is to be produced, according to drawing provided
- Complete application of digital print or vinyl to substrate or vehicle, by due date on the schedule or assigned by Graphics Lead
- Performs finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
Set up production files for jobs
This key result area will have been satisfactorily met when:
- All work orders are reviewed within 24 hours, any questions/concerns should be addressed with the salesperson by the end of the day they are received.
- Check for, or create production files
- Create layouts for router, AccuBend and AccuTrim within 24 hours of receiving work orders (if cannot meet deadline discuss with scheduling department)
- Send files for production to router, AccuBend, and AccuTrim
Provide additional support to Graphic Designer
This key result area will have been satisfactorily met when:
- Create presentation drawings
- Create production ready files from customer provided artwork. Deliver to salesperson for approval.
- Clean up/create images for advertising purposes from production or installation pictures
- Review and place outside vendor orders
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in file storage
Serve as back up to Graphics Lead
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
