Inside Annuity Wholesaler
Position Summary:
As a Inside Annuity Wholesaler, you will be responsible for developing relationships with independent financial advisors and agents, promoting our suite of financial products, and supporting advisor growth through education, marketing tools, and back-office support. You’ll be a sales-focused liaison between product carriers and independent advisors, ensuring the right tools and resources are in place to drive production.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard independent financial advisors and insurance agents to the IMO platform
- Develop and manage relationships with advisors to grow their business and retain their loyalty
- Promote annuity, life insurance, LTC, and related products offered through multiple carriers
- Act as a product expert and help advisors understand features, benefits, and suitability of offerings
- Assist advisors with case design, illustrations, applications, and submission process
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing campaigns and sales materials
- Track advisor performance and identify growth opportunities or training needs
- Represent the IMO at industry events, trade shows, and training workshops
- Stay up to date on carrier updates, regulatory changes, and competitive products
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years in insurance or financial services marketing, preferably in an IMO, FMO, or BGA
- Deep understanding of annuity and life insurance products
- Proven experience in business development and relationship management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with CRMs, quoting tools, and illustration software
- Insurance license (preferred but not always required)
