Job Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the Project Manager and other project team members in executing activities to support the construction of assigned project(s) and to ensure the work performed is in conformance with the project objectives and the requirements of the construction documents. Primary areas of responsibility include bidding support, executing the submittal and RFI review process, document control, verification of as-builts, supporting quality control, supporting site safety, executing equipment receiving process, managing closeout documentation, and supporting cost management activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the construction of assigned project(s) and to ensure the work performed is in conformance with the project objectives and the requirements of the construction documents
- Bidding support and document control
- Execute the submittal and RFI review process
- Verification of as-builts, supporting quality control, supporting site safety
- Execute equipment receiving process
- Manage closeout documentation
- Support cost management activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering
Additional Qualifications
- 1-5 years experience preferred
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office suite experience
- Capable of learning new computer programs for project management and reporting
- Experience with mobile devices and VDC apps a plus
Additional Information
The pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in San Diego is typically $67,428 - $107,885 annually. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. The selected candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, qualifications, and relevant experience. In addition, CRB offers a total rewards package that includes comprehensive insurance coverage as well as the opportunity to participate in one or more annual incentive programs based on company and individual performance.
