About the Role (Summary of project)
Gentis Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst 2 for a 3-month engagement with the potential for extension or conversion. This role supports product, engineering, and program management teams by optimizing workflows, managing backlogs, building dashboards, and supporting internal knowledge systems.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver with experience in workflow optimization and requirements gathering. This role involves working cross-functionally to streamline processes, manage customer tickets, and help build documentation and wiki platforms.
What You’ll Do (Job Description):
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Write detailed documentation outlining user needs, program functions, workflows, and system requirements.
- Manage the product backlog, customer tickets, and dashboard reporting.
- Optimize and build workflows using Monday.com.
- Collaborate with PMs and TPMs to forecast needs, timelines, and outcomes.
- Assist in establishing and organizing an internal wiki platform.
- Work with relational databases and client-server concepts as needed.
- Lead or direct work of others when required; operate with high creativity and autonomy.
What We’re Looking For (Must Haves):
- 2–4 years of Business Analysis experience with a focus on workflow creation and optimization.
- Experience using Asana, Jira, and Monday.com.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to get to the root cause of issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including explaining solutions clearly.
- Background in basic project management (end-to-end understanding).
Preferred (Nice-to-Have Skills):
- Experience with Confluence or other wiki platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
