Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Finance Associate, Capital Markets and Reporting, to support our CFO & Head of Capital Markets in managing critical financial reporting functions, including financial planning & analysis (FP&A), reporting, financial models, and audits. This role is ideal for an early-career finance or accounting professional eager to expand their experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position requires someone to be comfortable balancing routine financial tasks with high-impact strategic projects while working independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports for management, lenders, and external stakeholders.
- Support warehouse lender & securitization reporting requirements, including borrowing base calculations and compliance reporting.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support long-term strategic planning with performance and origination variance functionality.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support cross-functional teams with financial data and decision-making tools.
Financial Reporting & Lender Relations:
- Prepare financial reports for management, lenders, and external stakeholders.
- Support warehouse lender & securitization reporting requirements, including borrowing base calculations and compliance reporting.
Month-End Close & Audit Support:
- Assist in monthly close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Provide support for external audits by preparing the necessary schedules and documentation.
Capital Markets Support:
- Support monthly data room maintenance and client requests.
- Assist senior team members in the evaluation, preparedness & due diligence of financing facilities & securitizations
- Participate in investor and lender discussions, ensuring timely follow-up and ongoing relationship needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and capital markets.
- 2–4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills, including Pivot tables, V-lookup, H-lookup, MACROS, and advanced formulas.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis within a lending business.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to understand, operate, and provide ongoing support for structured finance programs, including securitizations and warehouse facilities
- Familiarity with lending business and/or specialty finance, preferably from the fintech, MCA, or SME funding ecosystem.

Potential total compensation:
$125,000-175,000 a year (potential total compensation, depends on experience)
