Role Description
We’re looking for a part-time Social Media Coordinator to join us on-site in New York City. You’ll help plan, create, and manage content across multiple social platforms for House of NYC and our luxury clients. This role is a blend of creativity and organization — perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, understands aesthetic branding, and enjoys working in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing social media strategies for both agency and client accounts
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during photoshoots, client meetings, and product sessions
- Create short-form content (Reels, TikTok, stories, lifestyle videos, product showcases)
- Write captions, schedule posts, and maintain a consistent brand voice
- Monitor trends across TikTok/Instagram and apply them to luxury brand storytelling
- Track analytics and pull simple performance reports
- Collaborate with our graphic designer, photographer, and marketing team
- Help brainstorm creative ideas, campaign concepts, and social series
- Attend shoots, store visits, and on-site content days
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest content trends
- Experience creating content for lifestyle, fashion, jewelry, or luxury brands (preferred)
- Knowledge of social media strategy, digital marketing, and analytics
- Comfortable filming on iPhone, directing simple shots, and capturing clean visuals
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and move quickly
- Strong aesthetic eye for layout, composition, and contemporary branding
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Google Workspace, or Adobe tools is a plus
- Interest in fashion, jewelry, watches, hospitality, or luxury lifestyle is a major bonus
