Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Fashion Design Intern to join our Design team. This paid internship provides hands-on experience working closely with designers and cross-functional teams throughout the development process. You'll gain real exposure to concept creation, fabric sourcing, sample development, fittings, and production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing seasonal concepts, mood boards, and digital trend research
- Create digital sketches and technical flats
- Support preparation and updates of tech packs, line sheets, and style specs
- Participate in virtual fittings and design review meetings; take notes and update revisions
- Help track samples and coordinate with vendors or factories through email and shared documents
- Organize digital files, inspiration images, design references, and fabric/trim libraries
- Assist with presentation decks and creative materials for collection reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or related field
- Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing, and patternmaking
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Passion for contemporary women’s fashion and a strong eye for detail and trends
