Procurement Contractor - Marketing & Sales Support for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Cambridge, MA OR remote (working EST hours). Details for the position are as follows:

Location: Cambridge, MA / Hybrid (8 days per month onsite) - EST Time Zone required if remote
Pay Rate: $96.55-$106.67 per hour
Duration: 6 Months (Start ASAP; Potential to Extend or Convert Based on Performance/Budget)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Procurement Contractor to support Marketing & Sales procurement activities. This role will assist category managers in executing sourcing events, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support category managers in procurement activities for marketing and commercial services (e.g., agencies, media, market insights).
- Assist with sourcing events including RFP development, bid analysis, supplier negotiations, and supplier management tasks.
- Manage contract lifecycle activities and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain precise records within procurement systems; track contract status and updates.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct benchmarking, supplier research, and spend analysis using procurement tools and available datasets.
- Generate reporting and analytics on spend, supplier performance, and project management timelines.
- Monitor contract renewals and expirations; troubleshoot issues related to POs, invoices, and SOWs.
Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably supporting marketing categories.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry procurement and compliance processes is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with procurement systems/tools and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
- Strong sense of urgency with high-quality output.
- Customer-centric mindset and collaborative working style.
- Demonstrated project coordination skills with reliable follow-through.
