Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about beauty, wellness, and lifestyle, and eager to learn all aspects of public relations — from media relations and influencer outreach to event planning and strategic reporting.
As an AAE, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of key accounts, working closely with senior team members to execute creative campaigns, track performance, and help drive meaningful results for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day account management across multiple beauty, lifestyle, and wellness clients.
- Draft media materials including press releases, pitches, fact sheets, and briefing documents.
- Conduct media and influencer research to identify new opportunities and maintain updated contact lists.
- Monitor media coverage and compile weekly and monthly client reports.
- Assist in planning and execution of media/influencer events, mailings, and activations.
- Maintain product inventory and coordinate sample seeding efforts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and content.
- Liaise with media, influencers, and brand partners on outreach and follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of PR experience (internship experience considered)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Meltwater, Muck Rack, or similar PR tools a plus.
- A genuine passion for the beauty, lifestyle, and wellness categories.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
