We’re looking for a Sales Operations Engineer to join the team at Vintage Modern, a brand recognized nationally for building some of the most iconic custom vehicles in the world. This role is responsible for building the infrastructure, automations, and frameworks that make it possible for the sales team to hit and exceed goal every month. You will define how KPIs are tracked, create visibility into performance, and design the processes that drive pipeline velocity and revenue growth.
You will also work hands-on as a developer, connecting systems like Salesforce, AI tools, and outreach platforms to remove friction and make the team more efficient. Every improvement you build will directly impact how fast deals move from lead to wire.
A solid grasp of digital platforms, modern sales strategy, and tools like AI and workflow automation will be necessary to keep up.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain real-time KPI dashboards to track every stage of the sales funnel (leads, transfers, FaceTimes, POs, wires).
- Design and implement automations and workflows in Salesforce, Google Sheets, and connected systems to shorten the time between stages.
- Analyze weekly and monthly performance to identify bottlenecks, conversion leaks, and trends.
- Develop internal tools and web apps (Windsor, Node, or similar frameworks) that make daily sales activity faster and more measurable.
- Work directly with leadership to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for how the team operates, measures success, and scales performance.
- Build AI-driven automations using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and OpenAI API to handle lead routing, outreach, and reporting.
- Create feedback loops between marketing and sales to improve lead quality and cost per transfer.
- Run experiments across messaging, cadence, and tech stack to identify repeatable growth patterns.
- Ensure all systems are structured around core KPI targets and consistently report accurate data.
What You Bring
- Proven experience designing and managing sales KPI frameworks, dashboards, and data visibility systems.
- Strong technical foundation in Salesforce, including automation, reporting, and API integration.
- Experience building and connecting systems with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n).
- Knowledge of web app development (Windsor, Next.js, React, Node, or similar).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn numbers into actionable strategies.
- Experience with growth operations or sales enablement roles where metrics were directly tied to outcomes.
- Ability to think and operate like a builder who can design, test, iterate, and scale what works.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with daily accountability to KPIs.
- Bonus: understanding of attribution tracking, CRM data design, and integration between Salesforce, Meta, and Google Ads.
