Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manufacturing processes utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks, CAD to design tooling, fixtures, and equipment layouts.
- Lead project scheduling efforts to ensure timely execution of process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new product launches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present progress reports on engineering projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal material utilization and process performance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering within a production environment or factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly line operations, fabrication, tooling design, and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Expertise in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
- Experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
- Understanding of industry standards such as ISO 9001 compliance requirements for quality management systems.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) with 3+ years of relevant experience. Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role with a proven record of process improvement.
