SHR Talent is partnering with a fast-growing PE-backed and highly profitable technology company in its search for a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst role is a short-term contract opportunity, expected to span approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs. The Financial Analyst will support critical financial projects as part of a newly forming finance team led by a long-tenured, highly respected finance leader.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple business units and product lines
- Build and maintain financial models to support leadership decision-making
- Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes as needed
- Assist with integration projects related to new acquisitions or product launches
- Collaborate with accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and operations teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3 – 6 years of experience in financial analysis, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or corporate finance
- Experience in technology, SaaS, or PE-backed environments, preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite, Power BI, or Tableau, a plus
- Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
