Role Description
This is a volunteer, remote role for a Non-Profit Social Media Brand Lead. The Brand Lead will help architect and scale Caribico’s digital presence by designing and launching mission-aligned content lanes and micro-pages across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn).
Rather than managing a single account only, this role focuses on identifying high-potential Caribbean content formats (e.g., fun facts, cultural spotlights, history, diaspora wins, positive news, student and youth narratives) and helping Caribico test, refine, and grow them into a cohesive brand ecosystem.
Responsibilities include developing content pillars and series, providing direction to volunteer creators and ambassadors, shaping brand voice and positioning, and using analytics to guide iteration. The Brand Lead will also help ensure all content supports Caribico’s purpose by elevating positive Caribbean representation and strengthening regional unity.
Experience or interest in AI-enabled content workflows is a strong advantage. While not required, familiarity with tools that support scalable content production (e.g., AI writing, video scripting, automation concepts) will help the initiative grow efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Strong skills in Communication, Writing, and Brand Storytelling
- Experience developing repeatable Content Strategies and content series
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
- Strong creative judgment and a growth mindset
- Passion for community-building and mission-driven work
- Knowledge of Caribbean culture and regional dynamics is a strong advantage
- Experience leading volunteer teams, student groups, or digital communities is a plus
- Familiarity with AI content tools or workflow thinking (even at a conceptual level) is a plus
