MFP is looking to hire a dedicated individual to fulfill a Systems Engineer position and join the MFP team.
Title: Systems Engineer
Status: Full Time exempt/non-exempt
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Department Team Lead
Purpose of the Position: Our Systems Engineers design and implement automation and fluid power solutions to meet our customers’ needs. This team member is responsible for creating and documenting designs to ensure product functionality and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
•Creating and maintaining Bill of Materials for engineered systems.
•Detailing hydraulic and/or electrical schematics.
•Creating Layout 3D models and drawings for engineered systems.
•Evaluating customer specifications and requirements to ensure systems meet expectations.
•Follow internal workflow process to ensure product quality.
•Assist with startup and implementation of engineered systems.
•Propose and implement internal improvement projects and product development for MFP engineered systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience reading and creating circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
•Strong organizational skills and time management
•Effective communicator both verbal and written, especially when presenting technical information to a non-technical audience.
•Experience working with established workflows and collaborating with coworkers.
•Willingness to expand area of expertise. Systems engineers are expected to work on hydraulic, pneumatic, electro mechanical, and electrical systems.
•Knowledge of manufacturing environments and current manufacturing market trends.
•General knowledge of machine control & PLC interface.
