Assistant, Portfolio Management (Boston - Real Estate)
A growing, privately owned real estate investment firm in Boston is looking to add an Assistant Analyst to its Portfolio Management team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the management and performance tracking of a diversified commercial real estate portfolio. This position offers exposure to financial modeling support, data organization, reporting, and cross-department collaboration.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity that offers a base salary of $60-75K plus bonus!
Primary Responsibilities
Compile, organize, and analyze portfolio data and third-party research to support portfolio insights and decisions.
Maintain internal files, reports, and portfolio documentation across systems and shared folders.
Assist in updating ARGUS and Excel models, including rent roll inputs, operating costs, and capital-related data.
Review tenant leases and financial documents to extract relevant terms and key details.
Work closely with Accounting and Asset Management to gather and verify necessary information.
Prepare presentations, charts, graphs, and data summaries for senior leadership, clients, and consultants.
Support ongoing Business Intelligence initiatives related to reporting, data imports, and system workflows.
Help coordinate internal meetings and ensure accurate documentation of discussions and follow-ups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
0–2 years of experience in real estate, financial analysis, accounting, or a similar field.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with ARGUS is preferred.
