About the Opportunity
We’re hiring on behalf of a Louisville-based entrepreneur who leads several lifestyle, personal brand, and real estate–adjacent ventures. These brands share a modern aesthetic, a creative point of view, and a strong connection to the local community.
As these ventures grow, we’re looking for a part-time Social Media Manager who can bring polish, consistency, and a cohesive visual identity across a small portfolio of Instagram accounts. This role blends content planning, simple DIY content creation, modern aesthetic storytelling, and hands-on social execution, perfect for someone who loves shaping the look and feel of lifestyle-forward brands.
What You’ll Do
Content Planning & Creative Direction
- Build monthly content calendars including themes, concepts, and captions.
- Shape the visual identity for each account, ensuring everything feels cohesive and elevated.
- Bring trend-aware creative ideas for reels, styling, and lifestyle storytelling.
- Audit and refresh existing accounts to establish a clean, intentional aesthetic.
Content Creation & Light Production
- Use provided photo and video to build polished, on-brand posts
- Capture simple DIY social content when needed (photo video, b-roll, etc.)
- Edit short-form video (Reels/TikTok style) using Canva or basic Adobe tools
- Create simple social graphics or layouts
- Source or curate supplemental content
Social Media Management
- Schedule, post, and manage content primarily on Instagram.
- Maintain a consistent posting rhythm across several related brand identities.
- Handle light community management (comments, DMs, basic engagement).
- Track simple performance metrics and provide monthly insights to guide future content.
Collaboration & Workflow
- Work directly with the brand owner to refine voice, tone, and vision for each account.
- Source, curate, or lightly produce content aligned with lifestyle and personal brand aesthetics.
- Ensure content feels modern, relevant, and reflective of each vertical’s personality.
- Help prepare accounts for new-year announcements and ongoing momentum.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a similar role.
- Strong visual instincts and familiarity with lifestyle, fashion, and design-forward content trends.
- Able to shoot simple social content on a phone with good composition and style
- Comfortable with light video editing
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing several accounts at once.
- A point of view, you bring ideas and can help shape a brand’s identity over time.
- Louisville-based preferred for ease of collaboration.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic motion graphics or transitions for short-form content.
- Experience in lifestyle, fashion, or real estate adjacent industries.
