We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and supporting compliance with accounting standards. - Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
