Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive structural design concepts using advanced CAD software, specifically Autodesk Revit.
- Create detailed schematics, drawings, and models to communicate design intent clearly to clients and construction teams.
- Utilize 3D modeling tools like SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds to visualize complex structures and system integrations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and compliant with building codes and safety standards.
- Prepare precise drafting documentation for production purposes while maintaining accuracy in all technical details.
- Conduct system design analyses for mechanical and structural components to optimize performance and durability.
- Support project development through graphic design skills and 2D animation techniques to illustrate concepts effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in structural design or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, ArchiCAD, or MicroStation.
- Knowledge of schematics creation, system design principles, mechanical design fundamentals, and construction processes.
- Familiarity with signage design principles and graphic design tools to enhance presentation quality.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and precision in technical execution.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
