The Art Manager role eschews traditional management in favor of leading by influence to efficiently handle and execute complex creative concepts, guaranteeing our brand image and design are seamlessly integrated across all channels and sub-brands.
As the Art Manager, you will be the steward of our visual strategy, expertly marrying design with content, while maintaining stringent adherence to our brand guidelines. You will spearhead the design of product packaging, promotional materials, and customer-centric design work, while also overseeing other branded assets creation.
This high-level role necessitates close collaboration with the CEO, SVP of Products + Services, marketing, sales, and product development teams, along with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be pivotal in translating our brand messaging, product positioning, and market strategies into successful designs.

Essential Responsibilities

● Champions consistency between copy layout and design across all mediums and channels, ensuring a seamless visual experience for the customer.
● Presents high-level design work for approval and handles comprehensive edits to meet aggressive deadlines.
● Drives the ideation, creation, and execution of sophisticated design concepts, ensuring the brand's strategic needs are met in each project.
● Oversees the entire lifecycle of design projects, from inception to approved artwork, ensuring every piece aligns with our rigorous brand standards.
● Supervises intricate file maintenance and all administrative processes related to the creation of creative work.
● Acts as the primary liaison with high-profile print vendors and agency partners as it relates to our brand visual guidelines.
● Collaborates closely with the CEO, SVP of Products + Services, Product Development, eCommerce, and Spa Channel teams to create visually cohesive and successful designs.
● Oversees packaging design consistency across all RMNL Brands.
● Shares feedback on packaging design messaging and trends and digital promotions, activities, and resources to ensure brand relevancy in the marketplace.
● Effectively understands data and marketing results to adapt design strategies accordingly.
● Effectively manages concurrent high-profile projects to ensure priorities and timelines are consistently met.
● Provides critical support for other strategic business priorities and projects as directed.
● Guides to the design work of independent contract designers and in-house designers.
● Stays up to date with industry developments and tools.
● Plans and oversees photo and video shoots from concept through completion.
● Participates in projects and other activities as directed to achieve business objectives.
● Upholds the Company Mission and Values in word and action everyday both inside and outside of RMNL Brands.
Qualifications
● Must be able to speak English and work well in a cross-cultural environment.
● Proven experience in graphic design, digital art, or related creative fields.
● Bachelor’s degree preferred.
● Expert proficiency in creative software (including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator) Figma, Sketch, InVision.
● Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
● Strong understanding of layout design, illustration techniques, branding principles, and visual design fundamentals.
● A keen eye for detail in color theory, typography, composition, and overall aesthetic quality.
● 3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency.
● Photography and video editing skills
● 2+ years in a senior design or creative management role, with proven strategic leadership experience.
● Exceptional communication skills with documented success in fostering cross-functional collaboration.
● Demonstrated ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers, business partners, and stakeholders.
● Superior attention to detail and ability to manage stringent deadlines without sacrificing quality.
● Proven ability to adapt to a high-velocity, rapidly changing environment.
Physical Demands
● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen.
● The employee is required to sit for long periods, as well as standing and walking. The ability to operate design software and printers is required.
● Must be able to transfer and move product that weighs up to 20 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
● Starting Pay: $80,000
