Job Title: Corporate Development, Analyst
Job Description:
Blackstone’s Corporate Development team partners with the firm’s business units to lead key growth initiatives, execute M&A transactions, and evaluate strategic corporate financial decisions on behalf of the CFO. The team plays an active role in developing the firm’s long-term strategic priorities and works closely with senior-level management to perform high-priority financial analyses. This individual will help assess, model, communicate, and execute both organic and inorganic strategic growth projects for Blackstone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess new business opportunities and conduct build-versus-buy analysis
- Analyze potential strategic M&A opportunities
- Support strategic growth projects for senior-level management
- Lead market research and competitor analysis
- Drive strategic corporate financial analysis, building and maintaining detailed financial models
- Draft presentations and investment memorandums for senior-level management
- Assist in transaction execution including due diligence and integration
- Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate new products, strategies, and opportunities
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or related fields (Financials Services / FIG exposure preferred)
- Thinks strategically, commercially and efficiently synthesizes information
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly motivated, intelligent, and works effectively in a team environment
- Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong work ethic and effectively manage multiple projects
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Strong academic record

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 - $125,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
