Job Summary:
The Gas Close-Out Specialist is responsible for managing the finalization and close-out process of gas engineering tasks. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with design specifications, and seamless coordination across departments to facilitate an efficient close-out process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas asset management and a keen eye for detail in updating critical infrastructure records.
Key Responsibilities:
· Data Accuracy & System Updates: Ensure all updates related to POE, service pipes, and service valves are accurately recorded and integrated into internal systems.
· Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date records, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.
· As-Built Data Review: Conduct thorough manual reviews of as-built information and field sketches to verify accuracy.
· Reporting Updates: Update eGIS with verified data, ensuring consistency between system records and field reports.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in engineering, business, data management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of data entry, administrative support, or document management experience.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Strong computer literacy and ability to work with data management systems.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to review, analyze, and verify large sets of data efficiently.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
· Experience with eGIS and ARM Application Suite (preferred but not required).
· Knowledge of gas central design processes and procedures (preferred but not required).
Working Conditions:
· Hybrid work environment (office-based 3 days a week and remote work)
