Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. The F&I Manager plays a crucial role in the dealership's finance department, assisting customers with financing options and providing insurance products to protect their vehicle investment. You will be responsible for accurately completing new and used vehicle paperwork, menu selling our products, ensuring quick funding, and delivering top level CSI. Applicants must have at least 3 years of prior automotive finance experience, preferably at a high line dealership. High ethics and an excellent work history is a must. This position interacts daily with Customers, Sales Associates, other Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Guide customers through the financing process, explaining available financing options, lease options, terms, and conditions.
- Work with multiple lenders to secure financing approvals and negotiate terms on behalf of customers.
- Present and sell insurance products, such as extended warranties, gap insurance, and vehicle service contracts, to customers to protect their investment.
- Review and verify customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Calculate and disclose finance terms, payments, and fees accurately and transparently to customers.
- Coordinate with sales and administrative staff to ensure seamless completion of financing and insurance paperwork.
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations related to automotive financing and insurance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and dealership policies related to financing and insurance transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, ora related field preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive finance and insurance, with a minimum of 1 year a similar role.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing processes, lending practices, and insurance products.
- Proficiency in using finance and insurance software systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Experience and desire to work with technology such as CRM and other dealership tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to automotive financing and insurance.
- Valid driver’s license
