This person will ensure plant equipment operates at peak performance using skills and knowledge in continuous improvement initiatives. Position Responsibilities
· The Reliability Engineer performs root cause failure analyses on critical equipment and
· on equipment failures.
· The Reliability Engineer leads the testing of components and equipment to improve
· their reliability or resolve equipment issues.
· The Reliability Engineer helps develop preventative maintenance and leads capital projects to improve product reliability.
· The Reliability Engineer offers technical support to Maintenance and Production.
· The Reliability Engineer performs design and process FMEAs to identify critical failure
· modes.
Preferred Qualifications
· 4+ years experience as a Reliability or Maintenance Engineer is required.
· Experience working with extruders, vacuum convey equipment, motors, drives, chillers, or air compressors is a big plus.
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· Experience leading Root Cause Failure Analyses and reporting equipment failures.
· Knowledge of Loss Elimination, Life Cycle Asset Management & Risk Management
· initiatives is important.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
