CIVIL ENGINEERING GENERAL MANAGER and DESIGN MANAGER
Established and expanding consulting Civil Engineering firm, based in Central Connecticut since 1962, seeks a highly motivated individual with 10-15 years minimum experience to be Design Manager, or General Manager of our Meriden Office. Potential ownership opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated leadership experience and successful teamwork.
- Exemplary communication skills, including the verbal, written, and public presentation domains.
- Significant Design and Project Management experience
- Broad Technical Background in Civil Engineering; Transportation: Highway & Bridge; Hydraulics/Water Resources; or Water and Wastewater Engineering
- Business development and client management experience
- Municipal and/or CONNDOT design and construction administration experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of Design teams
- General Management of Meriden Office
- Provide Technical Expertise
- Business Development
- Client Management
B.S. or M.S. Civil Engineering and 15+ years progressive experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects.
Must have a P.E. license in CT or the ability to obtain license in Connecticut quickly.
