Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin/English Speaker to serve as a Finance Supervisor within our organization. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive knowledge of financial concepts, and fluency in both Mandarin and English, to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
The Finance Supervisor will play a critical role in managing financial reporting, risk analysis, and business development initiatives to support organization growth and sustainability.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the regulatory requirements.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis.
- Conduct risk management assessments and develop strategies for risk mitigation across financial operations.
- Perform budget development, variance analysis, and cost control measures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Facilitate compliance management by ensuring adherence to governmental regulations and reporting standards.
- Analyze profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to provide actionable insights for strategic planning.
- Lead the implementation of financial software systems and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning, revenue management, and financial forecasting initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and interpret complex data for executive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required; strong communication skills in both languages are essential.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance,
- Strong knowledge of risk analysis, regulatory reporting, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Experience with financial software systems and proficiency in account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
