Position: Electronics Technician
Industry: Manufacturing (Aerospace experience a plus)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components and assemblies used in manufacturing. This role involves component-level diagnostics, PCB rework, and ensuring all repairs meet quality and performance standards. Aerospace or other highly regulated industry experience is highly valued but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electronic components and systems down to the component level.
- Use diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.) to identify root causes of failure.
- Perform repairs, rework solder joints, replace components, and restore full functionality.
- Conduct functional and performance testing to verify repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Document repair actions, test results, parts used, and failure trends.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an electronics technician in manufacturing, repair, or similar environments.
- Strong component-level troubleshooting skills (analog and digital circuits).
- Proficiency with common diagnostic equipment.
- Soldering/desoldering skills for PCB rework.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, or other regulated industries is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610, AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar standards is a bonus.
