Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Illustration Artist to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in digital art and visual storytelling, with the ability to translate concepts into compelling illustrations across various media. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including print advertising, web design, motion graphics, and 3D animation, utilizing a broad suite of industry-standard tools and techniques.
Duties
- Develop original illustrations for a variety of platforms including print, digital media, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with art directors and creative teams to conceptualize and refine visual ideas.
- Create detailed designs using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe After Effects.
- Incorporate principles of color theory, typography, and layout design to produce visually appealing artwork.
- Assist in the production of 3D models and animations using Maya or SketchUp as needed.
- Contribute to branding projects through logo design, packaging layouts, and interior or production design concepts.
- Prepare artwork for screen printing or other print advertising formats.
- Stay current with emerging trends in digital art, motion graphics, web design, and related fields to continually enhance creative output.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital design, graphic design, or illustration with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), along with familiarity with After Effects and Maya for motion graphics and 3D animation.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual storytelling principles.
- Skills in web design languages such as HTML and CSS are a plus.
- Experience with CAD or SketchUp for interior or production design projects is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- A background or interest in fashion design, interior design, or screen printing is advantageous but not required.
