Engineering Project Manager
Locations (Hybrid): Cincinnati, OH (preferred office) - Salt Lake City, UT - Reston, VA
Pay: $60-$80 hourly, may exceed based on experience.
MUST have EPC / ENGINEERING FIRM experience.
MUST HAVE HEAVY INDUSTRIAL PROJECT APPLICATION experience (ex. Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pulp & Paper)
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of business projects from inception through execution
- Develop and document the scope of work
- Understand project success criteria and ensure client expectations are met
- Develop and track project costs
- Identify and communicate changes to SOW
- Identify and effectively respond to clients’ issues and needs
- Ensure value is provided to the client and develop & earn their trust
- Ensure the clients’ policies and procedures are communicated and followed by the project team
- Review and manage all project deliverables
- Secure resources needed for teams to execute work effectively (i.e. drawings, reports, site visits, etc.)
- Ensure POs are received from the client before work begins and ensure services are rendered within the approved budget; also ensure invoices are paid timely
- Anticipate future work associated with or derived from ongoing projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering
- Project Management experience on Engineering Projects
- Knowledge of front-end engineering and detailed engineering process
- Proven Customer Account Manager with experience in developing opportunities within existing clients
- Demonstrated experience in driving projects within budget from initiation through a successful and timely conclusion
- Coordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, monitor progress and quality of the projects
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster positive client relationships
- Perform activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of operations
- Experience in consulting engineering, power, and/or heavy industrial industry
