About Check N’ Play
Check N’ Play is a modern play café designed for families with young children, combining imaginative play with great food, coffee, and retail in a warm, thoughtfully designed space.
As we scale the business, we’re building internal marketing capabilities and looking for motivated early-career talent to help execute and coordinate our digital presence across social, email, and paid channels.
What You’ll Do
As a Junior Digital Marketing Coordinator, you’ll help run the day-to-day execution of our digital marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns who wants hands-on experience across multiple channels.
You will:
Social Media
- Schedule and publish posts and stories across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok as applicable)
- Write captions and light promotional copy
- Monitor comments and messages and flag items that need response
- Maintain posting calendars and cadence
Email & CRM
- Build and send email campaigns (events, promotions, announcements)
- Manage email lists, segmentation, and basic automations
- QA emails before launch and maintain email calendars
- Track basic performance metrics (opens, clicks)
Paid Campaign Support
- Assist with paid social campaign setup and monitoring
- Track budgets, pacing, and basic performance
- Coordinate creative assets for ads
- Pull reports and flag trends or issues
What We’re Looking For
- Familiarity with social media platforms and posting workflows
- Experience using email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfort working across multiple projects and channels
- Clear written communication skills
- Attention to detail and follow-through
Bonus If You Have
- Exposure to Meta Ads Manager or paid social
- Experience managing content calendars
- Basic reporting or spreadsheet skills
- Interest in growth marketing or analytics
- Small business, retail, or hospitality marketing experience
Role Details
- Part-time: :20 hours per week
- Pay: $25 per hour, depending on experience
- Location: Hybrid (on-site as needed, with remote work flexibility)
- Experience Level: Entry-level / early career (0–2 years)
