Marketing Specialist
Location: Pasadena, CA
Reports To: marketing Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports the execution of Pasadena Federal Credit Union’s marketing initiatives through creative production, campaign coordination, content support, and operational tracking.
This entry level role is responsible for day to day marketing execution activities that ensure campaigns are implemented accurately, assets remain current, and performance metrics are properly tracked. The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in maintaining brand consistency and supporting growth focused initiatives across retail, digital, and community channels.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign and Creative Support
Assist in creative design, formatting, and production of marketing materials across print and digital channels
Format and update campaign collateral including flyers, social graphics, email templates, and internal communications
Support video and image formatting for digital campaigns
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials
Metrics and Reporting
Update and maintain campaign performance dashboards
Track marketing metrics and assist in preparing performance reports
Manage public review monitoring and reporting trackers
Support data collection for campaign ROI analysis
Digital and Social Media Coordination
Schedule and curate social media content
Assist in developing content calendars
Ensure marketing assets across website and digital platforms remain current and accurate
Support basic SEO updates and digital content refreshes
Content and Internal Coordination
Help develop educational presentations and marketing decks for Social Impact and community initiatives
Coordinate internal marketing asset requests and ensure timely delivery
Maintain marketing asset libraries including photography and media files
Conduct occasional on site photo taking for campaigns and events
Event and Community Support
Provide ad hoc event marketing support including setup materials and branded collateral coordination
Assist with community outreach campaign logistics
Qualifications
· Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field or equivalent experience
Zero to two years of marketing experience, internships acceptable
· Genuine interest in banking and financial solutions, with an understanding of their role in supporting financial well-being.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
· Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred
· Experience in financial services or credit union environment
· Familiarity with email marketing platforms
· Basic understanding of marketing analytics tools

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
