Job Summary
We are looking for an highly motivated and entrepreneurial, energetic, outgoing and creative individual for a busy tile design showroom. This person would be responsible for coordinating design and sales. The qualified candidate should have an eye for design would posses the following experience along with good amount of creative spunk!
This sales candidate should have experience in both retail clientele as well as working with the Trade professionals such as contractors, architects and designers.
1. Design back ground that can put floors, kitchens, bathrooms, pools, or a whole home together using tile.
2. About 75% of this role involves daily administrative and sales operations, including work in Quickbooks (training provided)
3. Basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) in tile and/stone uses and design.
4. Attention to detail such as in putting accurate information on purchase orders, quotes, and invoices.
5. Team player - Able to adapt to multiple people and personalities and be able to cultivate existing and new leads.
6 Maintaining and tracking orders. Placing orders, prompt and clear communication with clients and vendors.
7. Set up and display new products and creating an organized showroom.
8. Be PUNCUTAL
9. Ability to multitask (answering phones, assisting walk ins, handling emails in a timely manner)
10. Works well under pressure in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
11. Dress to impress - Business casual
12. Must have basic computer skills. Copy/Paste, email, attach photos, scan, etc.
This pays base + commission. This person must be friendly and welcoming, help clients with design and purchases including ordering samples, follow up through out the entire sale. Must be able to lift 25 - 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
