Position Summary
The Software Engineer is a dedicated technical resource responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and scaling of Cardone Ventures’ internal Jarvis platform. This role partners closely with Product, Sales (including Events/Concierge), and cross-functional stakeholders to transform business requirements into stable, scalable software solutions that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.The Software Engineer is a key technical contributor focused on the continuous development, maintenance, and scaling of Cardone Ventures' proprietary Jarvis platform. This role involves close collaboration with the Product, Sales (including Events/Concierge), and various cross-functional teams. The primary goal is to translate business requirements into stable and scalable software solutions that effectively drive both revenue growth and operational efficiency.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Jarvis is stable, performant, and available for Sales, Events, Concierge, and other internal teams during critical operating windows.
- New Jarvis features and improvements are delivered on time and aligned with business priorities set by Product and Sales leadership.
- On-premise issues, integrations, and environment needs for Jarvis are handled quickly with minimal disruption to the business.
- Product team are freed up to refocus on strategic product work (including Roofing/CEM/Sales tools), rather than being blocked by day-to-day engineering tasks.
- The Jarvis platform scales to support new programs, events, and client-facing initiatives without major rework or downtime.
OBJECTIVES
- Understand the Jarvis architecture, codebase, and deployment workflows, and build strong working relationships with Joakim, Will, McKenzie, Events/Concierge, and Sales.
- Take ownership of small bug fixes and low-risk enhancements to demonstrate reliability and code quality.
- Independently own end-to-end delivery of Jarvis features, from technical design through deployment.
- Improve operational reliability of Jarvis by implementing better monitoring, logging, and alerting for production and on-premise environments.
- Lead technical implementation of key Jarvis roadmap initiatives that support events, concierge services, and sales processes.
- Establish standards and processes for Jarvis development, testing, release management, and on-premise support, enabling Product (Joakim) to reengage fully on
- Roofing-related and other strategic projects.
COMPETENCIES
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production software applications (web, backend, or full-stack). Comfortable with modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills; able to quickly assess complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Ownership & Accountability: Takes full responsibility for outcomes, follows through on commitments, and delivers consistently without heavy supervision.
- Business Alignment: Able to understand business objectives, revenue drivers, and operational realities, and translate them into technical priorities for Jarvis.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills; able to work closely with non-technical stakeholders, explain trade-offs, and set clear expectations.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production applications (internal tools or business-critical systems preferred).
