Job Title: Engineering
Location: Chandler, AZ
Type: Contract
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Design and validate manufacturing processes being transferred to a new location
- Specify precise product functional requirements
- Design, test, and integrate manufacturing processes and fixtures
- Evaluate the processes' overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
- Develop and execute process validation plans
- Create and review material part specifications and bills of materials
- Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, and designers to optimize designs for manufacturability
- Utilize CAD or CAE systems to review and modify existing engineering drawings
- Own a product line end-to-end, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Support transfer and validation activities, working independently with minimal supervision
- Travel approximately 25% to Florida; flexibility required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in process design, validation, and manufacturing equipment
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAE systems
- Ability to work independently, applying professional judgment and expertise
- Flexibility to travel (~25%) for project transfers and validations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
