Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of the principles of interior design, including color theory, space planning, and lighting design. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet their needs and preferences. The Cabinet Designer will be responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, ensuring that all aspects of the design process are executed smoothly.
Duties
- Collaborate with clients to determine their interior design needs and preferences.
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients using sketches and digital renderings.
- Utilize software tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 2020 Design, and rendering softwares to create detailed designs and specifications.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the renovation or construction process.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions for clients.
Skills
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, 2020 Design, and rendering softwares.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of drafting techniques and construction methods relevant to interior design.
- Understanding of color theory and its application in creating harmonious spaces.
- Familiarity with renovation processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed.
- Utilize our showroom resources to guide clients through product and finish options.
