Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Window Treatment Designer and Project Manager to lead the design, planning, and execution of luxury window treatment projects. In this role, you will combine creative vision with technical expertise to craft bespoke window coverings that elevate interior spaces. You will oversee every phase of project management, from initial consultation and design development to installation and client handoff, ensuring seamless coordination across teams. Your passion for high-end design, coupled with strong project management skills, will drive exceptional customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence in luxury window treatments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and budget considerations for custom window treatments.
- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, installers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and flawless installation of window treatments.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to ensure designs are accurately executed on-site.
- Prioritize effective time management to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
- Comfortable selling in customers’ homes.
- Able to climb stairs and carry sample books weighing up to 20 pounds.
Experience
- Ideally proven experience in luxury window treatment design combined with project management within the interior design or construction industry.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to interior projects.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams effectively.
- Background in construction site experience or related fields preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
