Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving systems across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical/ structural engineering. The Engineer will utilize SolidWorks to develop and meet project specifications and industry standards. Candidates with strong data analysis skills and knowledge of manufacturing or construction processes are highly desirable. This position is paid and suitable for both experienced professionals and interns eager to grow their expertise in engineering. Communicating with welders, fitters, plasma table, production manager, to ensure quality and integrity of the project.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed system designs and schematics using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot technical issues across projects.
- Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
- Perform data collection and analysis to support research initiatives and process improvements.
- Apply GD&T principles for mechanical design accuracy and quality assurance.
- Lead or contribute to project management activities including planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Perform system integration involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Conduct laboratory experiments or field research as needed to validate designs or gather data.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in systems engineering, mechanical design, civil engineering, or quantum engineering projects.
- Use 3D scanners and other advanced tools for precise measurement and system verification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks; familiarity with GD&T standards is preferred.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies including project scheduling and systems engineering principles.
- Experience with manufacturing or construction processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and system design integration.
- Laboratory experience or research background demonstrating data collection and analysis skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
