Outreach Specialist - Energy Programs
**LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - Southern NJ - within 60 miles of Atlantic City, NJ **
The Outreach Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of Outreach for the Commercial & Industrial (“C&I”) Energy Efficiency Programs (“the Programs”) for Atlantic City Electric (“ACE”) to increase awareness of the Programs and support the achievement of electric energy savings goals and customer satisfaction for the Programs.
You will work independently from your home office and in the field with as much as 25% to 75% of local travel within Atlantic City Electric’s territory on a week to week basis. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of leads, meetings and all communications using the CRM tool ensuring data is updated on a weekly basis. You will complete project follow up through the project life cycle converting leads to completed projects.
With excellent communication, marketing and organizational skills, this candidate will coordinate and complete the outreach to ensure program success.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Promote Energy Efficiency programs to customers and work with contractors via one on one meetings, presentations, networking throughout Southern NJ
- Support the Program’s long-term relationship management strategy by clearly articulating Program offerings; qualify leads; and assist property owners/managers in determining potential electric Energy Efficiency improvements.
- Actively support day-to-day outreach and recruitment of Service Providers. Provide training to Service Providers and support issue resolution.
- Data entry and management of contacts in customer relationship management database.
- Represent program at applicable community meetings
- Actively engage appropriate local and industry groups and associations
- Represent the offering, generate leads and answer inquiries at trade shows
- Complete QA inspections on an as-needed basis as a back up to the QA/QC team
- Minimum 25-75% travel is typical - driving for meetings, appointments, etc. in the territory
- Self-starter, organized and able to work effectively independently

Minimum Associates Degree or Equivalent work experience
Preferred:·
- 1+ years of experience with utility Energy Efficiency programs with C&I, Multifamily experience
- Knowledge of commercial energy efficiency technologies and practices.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science fields
