Job Overview
SDP Buffalo Ranch and Legendary Stakes are seeking a highly capable Marketing & Operations Assistant to support two growing businesses in the Western performance horse industry.
This role goes beyond traditional marketing.
You will work directly with our Marketing Manager and office team to ensure marketing execution, customer communication, and day-to-day operational needs are handled with consistency and professionalism.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and understands that marketing only works when execution and customer experience are tight.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Assist with execution of marketing campaigns across SDP Buffalo Ranch and Legendary Stakes
- Manage and schedule social media content
- Help coordinate email campaigns, promotions, and announcements
- Maintain CRM systems, customer lists, and marketing databases
- Track basic marketing metrics and organize reporting
Operations & Office Support
- Answer phones and assist customers with general inquiries
- Support customer service needs related to breeding, contracts, billing, and scheduling
- Assist office staff with organization, follow-ups, and internal coordination
- Ensure tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager are completed accurately and on time
Team Collaboration
- Work under the direction of the Marketing Manager, who will oversee strategy and systems
- Coordinate closely with accounting, customer service, and ranch operations
- Help ensure nothing “falls through the cracks” as the businesses continue to grow
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Willingness to learn industry-specific systems and workflows
- Team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of accountability
Marketing experience is important, but reliability, initiative, and follow-through matter more than buzzwords.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Social media management or content scheduling
- CRM or customer database experience
- Basic understanding of email marketing and automation
- Experience in customer service or office administration
Schedule & Location
- Full-time, in-person role
- Monday through Friday
- Some flexibility during peak seasons

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
