IDR is seeking a AI Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lehi, UT. This role involves working within a cutting-edge smart home ecosystem to develop advanced AI solutions that improve home safety, provide insights, and enhance user convenience. The company is a leader in innovative home automation and safety technology, committed to creating practical and safety-focused AI applications.
Position Overview for the AI Engineer:
- Architect the framework to enforce and maintain the highest quality and safety standards for AI-driven product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including embedded, apps, platform, QA, product, and UX to deploy AI solutions to a large customer base.
- Test and refine advanced machine learning models, optimizing them for both edge and cloud environments.
- Develop comprehensive datasets and evaluations to measure the quality and safety of AI features.
- Monitor and maintain AI feature performance in production, ensuring ongoing customer value and iterative improvements.
Requirements for the AI Engineer:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with AI/ML processes including data structures, curation, annotation, pipelines, model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI training and evaluation
- Experience with computer vision training and evaluation
- Programming experience with Python, Shell, Embedded Linux, and Git
