Description
3form is hiring a junior to mid-level full stack web developer to help build and improve our website and ecommerce platform. This role includes both frontend and backend work, with a stronger emphasis on building polished user experiences in JavaScript and supporting them in Ruby on Rails.
You’ll work on a mix of customer-facing and internal tools, including our website, storefront, checkout, account, and admin functionality.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve frontend features in JavaScript
- Create clean, responsive user interfaces
- Contribute to backend development in Ruby on Rails
- Deliver reliable, well-tested features across the stack
- Debug issues and improve application stability
- Collaborate with a small team on product improvements
Qualifications
- 1 to 4 years of professional software development experience
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience building web features
- Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails
- Comfortable contributing to both frontend and backend code
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and good judgment
Nice to Have
- Experience with React
- Experience with Ruby on Rails in production
- Familiarity with ecommerce applications
- Experience with APIs, relational databases, background jobs, or Docker
- Experience with Spree or Avo
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in West Valley City, UT. Team members work in the office four days per week and remotely one day per week.
