Position Title: Systems and Programmer Analyst

Location: Stone Ground Bakery, Salt Lake City, UT
Purpose and Scope of Position:
A Systems Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our company software and hardware needs, as well as our enterprise software and Point-of-Sale (POS) system for our retail sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system improvements.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot ERP system and reports.
- Create SQL queries, Excel data connections, Power BI Reports, KPI’s, and automated services to streamline information to internal and external customers.
- Build, maintain, and document custom software, services, and data connections to external applications.
- Configure new hardware to use created reports, KPI’s, and services.
- Continuously review changing business needs and update reports to include relevant information that will continue to drive improvement.
- Create and maintain documentation regarding system processes.
- Assist with IT Help Desk responsibilities as needed.
- Assist with greater IT initiatives is required.
- Help users diagnose the cause of system errors and work toward a resolution.
- Work with third-party consultants on customizations and bug fixes.
- Assist with future ERP module implementations.
- Ability to work solo and as a team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
This is not a remote position.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with ERP Systems, manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in SQL, Power Query, Power BI, DAX.
- Proficient in Object Oriented Programming, preferably C# and Python.
- Preferred experience with WinForms and Windows Services.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also accepted.
- 3+ years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge in C# and Python is preferred.
- Experience with Business Central is preferred.
- Experience with Aptean’s Just Foods platform preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of modern software systems, including Business Central and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying for reporting and analysis.
- Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting.
- Practiced in AI querying for role optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications and data security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and be able to pivot at a moment’s notice.
