Role Overview
As a Cold Caller / Business Development Associate, you will be the first point of contact between our firm and prospective high-level clients. Your primary responsibility will be initiating high-quality outreach calls, articulating our firm's value proposition with clarity and sophistication, and setting qualified introductory meetings for senior advisors.
This role is ideal for someone who is articulate, poised, and intellectually curious—with ambitions to build a career in wealth management. Outstanding performers will have a clearly defined path to transition into a Junior Advisor position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to high-level executives, primarily within the technology sector.
- Communicate our firm’s philosophy, services, and differentiators with professionalism and nuance.
- Identify prospective clients' financial needs and assess alignment with our advisory process.
- Schedule and coordinate introductory consultations for senior advisors.
- Maintain detailed and organized outreach notes in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with advisors to refine messaging, targeting, and engagement strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training and mentorship as part of the junior advisor growth track.
Qualifications
Required:
- Exceptional verbal communication skills—eloquent, polished, and confident.
- Strong intelligence, quick learning ability, and comfort holding sophisticated conversations.
- Professional demeanor suitable for engaging with senior executives.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and motivated by performance metrics.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic data management, tracking, sorting, filtering) and Microsoft Outlook (calendar management, structured email communication).
- Desire to build a long-term career in wealth management.
Preferred but Not Required:
Candidates with any of the following New York–relevant financial licenses are encouraged to apply:
- FINRA Series 7
- FINRA Series 63
- FINRA Series 65
- FINRA Series 66 (combined 63/65)
- New York Life, Accident & Health Insurance License
